Inspire scholarships help fill recruitment gaps

Launched in 2005, Inspire Scholarships have helped to address the difficulties facing employers recruiting work ready staff. The scheme attracts the ‘brightest and best’ undergraduates into construction with up to £9,000 during the length of their course, work placements and potential employment with their sponsoring employer on completion of their degree.
David Rigby, Chief People Officer from EC Harris a Professional Services Consultancy says: “EC Harris is committed to delivering better value results for clients. In order to do this we need to recruit and retain the best people and develop them to their full potential. Inspire Scholarships have given us the opportunity to select from top quality applicants. We can now work with our students through university so that the needs of our clients and our business are better served”
