The Centre for Education in the Built Environment (CEBE) identifies industry/Higher Education engagement as a major issue that shapes its activities. Since its establishment in 2003 ACBEE (Accelerating Change in Built Environment Education) has sought to encourage improved dialogue between industry, universities and professional bodies with a view to shaping more relevant educational provision for the future of the built environment (www.acbee.org). ACBEE highlights a series of best practice case studies where industry engagement with HEI's is clearly demonstrated.
